United Cerebal Palsy
UCP of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley was established in 1963 to provide programs and services to children with cerebral palsy and their families. Since then, UCP has expanded these services to meet the needs of children with other types of disabilities, and now serves more than fifty-three diagnoses

Christmas Charities Year Round
Founded in 1949, after a boll weevil infestation devastated the area's cotton crop. The original purpose was to help affected families clothe their school-age children. Extra support for families was provided later that year, during the Christmas season. They now operate 365 days a year, helping children & families by providing clothes, furniture, household items & assistance with utilities & prescription medication -- plus food & toys at Christmas.
